Do you dream about your small business making money while you sleep but wake up to hours of tedious tasks and fighting with tech platforms?
Tech isn’t supposed to cause you to lose sleep.
You didn’t mean to trade 9-5 ... for 24/7?
When you started your business, you dreamt of spending time doing the work you love and enough schedule flexibility for an afternoon nap. But you didn’t realize how many hours all those systems that supposedly help you “make money while you sleep” take to set up and manage.
Does this give you stress dreams?
Call with an accountant, who doesn’t even know how online businesses work, for a bookkeeping question - $300/hr
Lawyer’s time to draft up a new contract, that comes back without terms about sharing logins - $200-2,000/hr
Logo designed by a graphic designer who worked with your mom’s friend’s trainer - $20-$250
Tech consultant to set up a new system, that then you don’t know how to use - $150-$500/hr
1:1 with a biz coach, just for them to recommend the systems they use - $300-$1,200/hr
Custom website that you’re proud to send clients to, after 3 revisions - $4,000-8,000
You don’t have to spend multiple thousands of dollars every month to have a thriving business just because you’re not a tech or design wiz.
You’re a pro at what you do but all the behind-the-scenes gives you nightmares.
Now that your business does consistent revenue, you’ve got a whole host of stresses you didn’t expect.
What if the payment processor charges them twice?
What if the email goes out to the wrong segment?
Do I have the right contracts to protect me from a lawsuit?
Can I actually afford to hire that virtual assistant?
Where are all these 404 links coming from?
It’s enough for anybody to lose sleep.
You need a system-somniac.
sys·tem·som·ni·ac (noun)
/ sistəmˈsämnēˌak/
A person who dreams pleasantly of systems, technology and automations.
"I woke up this morning with a great idea on how to streamline my email strategy - I’m such a systemsomniac!"
I’m Sam and I’m a system-somniac.
(Thankfully, love of systems isn’t a real medical condition!)
While running my first business, I realized I had more fun tweaking the systems in my business than working on my core services themselves. But fellow solopreneurs with thriving businesses kept mentioning how much they dreaded the tasks that I loved doing the most.
I realized my dream day, full of automations, comparing tools and tweaking back-end systems was their worst nightmare. I figured I could help.
What if you could cut time spent on these tasks in half?
You don’t want to deal with the management, payroll and budget required for a ton of outside support. But you also have to find a way to spend less time on...
Managing the Tech
Setup | Troubleshooting | Automation
Finance & Analytics
Payment Processors | Checkout | Bookkeeping
Branding
Website | Social Media | Graphics
Don’t worry, friend.
I dream of systems so you don’t have to.
Nobody tells you how many different systems and skills it takes to achieve “passive income.” Or that to delegate all that work would require at least 3 different types of freelancers (and the time to manage them).
You started a business to make money off the work that comes naturally to you. Well, systems, automation and operations come naturally to me. We’re a match made in business heaven.
INTRODUCING
Biztime stories.
Personalized, done-with-you support from a system-somniac so you can wake up, ready to take on the parts of your business you love most.
Put your business stress to rest.
How it works
Sleepytime mocktail?
You don’t need to find and manage a bunch of freelancers to avoid figuring it all out on your own. Our guides, tech comparisons and checklists give you easy-to-follow recipes for FAQs so you sleep soundly knowing you’re on the right track.
Prescription necessary
Sometimes there’s something bigger going on here. Samantha keeps a network of specialists for bigger issues or regulated topics (like legal and accounting) so if she can’t solve it with you, she can get you to trusted specialists who can.
Designated storytime
Weekly office hours give you a place to come to with all your tech, automation, systems questions and troubleshooting so someone else can see the error message and show you how to fix it!
Sleepover vibes
You’ll not only learn from Sam but hear how other biz owners are running their businesses and their best tricks for eliminating busy work and avoiding costly business mistakes. Vent sessions welcome.
Get comfy, my friend!
Just like you change out the down comforter for the lighter quilt when the seasons change, it’s totally normal for different seasons of your business to have different systems and technology needs.
That’s why Biztime Stories is here for you for at least 6 months (and more if you love the support) to work through bigger topics over time and to be able to tweak your systems and support as you grow and scale. We’re not going anywhere!
Let’s check under the bed, one more time...
Biztime Stories is not for you if...
You’re not making money in your biz yet.
This program is best for business owners who are ready to trade a reasonable amount of money for their time back (whether to focus on their chosen product/service or to be able to live their lives).
You’re primarily brick-and-mortar.
The toolbox in Biztime Stories is built for online businesses and revolves around the technologies that help those businesses automate, streamline and thrive. We’re not built to support primarily physical businesses.
You don’t even know where the logins are.
I can’t help those that don’t help themselves and for the majority of our work together, you’ll still be the one logging in to make the change. The completely hands-off business is probably a pipe dream, but if you want to keep chasing it, this isn’t right for you.
You need a business batphone.
Just like you, I became a solopreneur so I could build the schedule that works for me. Which means clients get support via business hours, our pre-made docs, and Slack but we observe strict business hours and reasonable response times.
Sweet (business) dreams.
Everybody’s business dreams are a little different. Which is why generic googling and one-size-fits-all strategies fall short.
I only have 5 biz owners at a time inside Biztime Stories so that I can personalize the support to your biz dreams and tech nightmares. (And you can make a few new biz besties!)
That sounds amazing
Ready to wake up refreshed?
It’s time to figure out the BTS of your business so you have more time to do the work you really love (or go take a nap).
The inaugural round of Biztime Stories opens soon. The first group will snag very discounted pricing (as thanks while we iron out our biztime routine). Drop your info at the link below to get first dibs when spots open!
Giving you the automation, strategy and technology support so you can sleep soundly knowing your business is safe and sound.
